Roles

Junior Product Designer

The Production Manager manages many aspects of our production team by facilitating projects from start to finish. From ordering materials to coordinating deliveries and engaging vendors the PM is the maestro. Interested candidates must excel at communication, multitasking, customer service and efficiency.

This is not a woodworking position but an understanding of the materials and processes involved in furniture production would be an asset. Project and staff management experience is also favourable. Pay rate is based on experience with paid holidays and health benefits package. 8-4pm Monday-Friday, 40hrs per week. We are looking for a long term dedicated applicant.

Duties to include but not limited to:

Prioritize daily tasks
Ensure projects are completed on or before due date
Understand scope and processes involved in each project
Coordinate transportation of materials from suppliers and vendors
Coordinate sub-trades
Manage shipping and logistics
Provide excellent customer service
Communicate with clients and arrange deliveries
Oversee woodworking/metalworking staff
Track and Report progress to Ownership
Must have a valid drivers license
Compensation based on experience
Experience with Apple/Mac and Slack are greatly appreciate

Woodworker (Junior & Apprentice Position)

Our Junior & Apprentice woodworkers work along side and to support Lead Builders in the production of our furniture. Working from verbal or written instructions, junior woodworkers work with with both solid wood and sheet materials to fabricated the pieces with attention to detail and accuracy. Sanding, jointing, ripping, gluing, building crates, packing and delivering are all daily tasks. Pay rate is based on related experience with paid holidays and a health benefits package. 

  • Must possess thorough knowledge and experience with woodworking and tools
  • Must be motivated, self managing, and able to work well as a group
  • Experience ripping, gluing, sanding and hand-finishing solid wood is required
  • Hardworking and good listener
  • Compensation based on related shop experience
  • Full time hours Monday-Friday 8-4pm
  • Occasional Saturdays required
  • Drivers License
